On May 2, a Special Workshop for Chosen Blessed Families was held at Okayama Family Church (Okayama area), where leaders and women department heads from Region 4 gathered. President Tomihiro Tanaka explained about the providential significance of the Cheon Won Gung and Cheon Il Sanctum Entrance Ceremony, which ended with a great victory. He asserted that “the way for God to be firmly established will be paved only when we, the chosen blessed families, become children who serve God as our Parent.”

The traditions we set up will create the future
I sincerely admire all of you on the frontline doing God’s will and your cheongseong and passionate efforts in this battle of dealing with the spiritual lives of the members, and for leading heaven’s providence.
Region 4 is the first stop on my tour. The Cheon Won Gung and Cheong Il Sanctum Entrance Ceremony was very historic and concluded on April 13, and we have since been hoping to spend proper time with our brothers and sisters on the front lines so that they may understand its significance as soon as possible. We reported to heaven and received the blessing before starting on this tour. Together with all of you, we would like to make this tour a place where we can properly recognize the present time we are in and embark with a proper focus on the future.
True Mother says that this is a time of great historical change. What in the world has undergone such a great turnaround?
After six thousand years, God has been firmly settled. We are living in this time. Are we the only ones experiencing this reality? Each tradition we establish will create the future.
The youth choir that just sang for us. Looking into their faces and eyes gave me hope.
No matter how small the dream, no matter how small the determination, the eyes of those who have it shine brightly. The eyes of those who have no dreams or goals are dead. When I see the younger generation unite with True Mother and say, “We are here, so it will be all right!” I believe that Heaven is moved by such a sight.
The time we unite with the True Parents of Humankind and start anew
The Cheon Won Gung and Cheon Il Sanctum Entrance Ceremony ended in a great victory. What constitutes a “victory” must first be properly recognized by those of us in charge.
The ceremony began with a dance performance titled, “The Journey to Heaven’s Victory,” which expressed 6,000 years of Heaven’s providence and the journey of humankind after receiving True Parents.
Next, True Mother and her grandchildren, Shin-chul nim and Shin-heung nim, entered the hall, and the Ceremony to Reaffirm Heavenly Parent’s Sovereignty was held. This ceremony symbolized the great change in history. It also contained great significance in which all humankind bowed before the True Parents of Humankind and marked a new start for us.
The Ceremony for the Inheritance of Heaven’s Love and Blessing was held centered around Shin-chul nim and Shin-heung nim, and they made a pledge to “receive education prepared by Heaven.” As Inheritors of Heaven’s Love and Blessing, the two will go through an educational program to become persons of substance who can respond to the wishes of Heaven.
When I met True Mother at Cheon Jeong Gung Museum after the entrance ceremony, she advised me to read the declaration of the word given at the entrance ceremony many times. Let me share its contents with you.
Heavenly Parent, the Creator and Master of the universe, today we have finally reached this unique day, after You patiently endured and waited for 6,000 years due to the Fall…Now You are truly the rightful Master of this earth. Our second, third, and fourth generation, the Pure Water, born of many blessed families who exist because of True Parents, are going out to the world to impart the vision of Your earthly kingdom across the land. From this day forward, Heavenly Parent, please embrace and love Your children with all Your heart!
True Mother did not read a pre-written speech, but rather she proclaimed her feelings at that time in her own words. True Mother’s expectation and confidence in Pure Water has never wavered. Pure Water has never ceased to attract Mother’s feelings.
Last April, a group of Japanese leaders went to Korea for a two-week training program. At that time, True Mother spoke about the mission of blessed families and asked whether she could trust them, as a form of encouragement. Of course we answered, “Yes!” But then she said, “But don’t worry. Heavenly Top Gun, the second generation are united with me as one needle. All you have to do is to be one with them.”
True Mother is looking to the future through Pure Water. If we do not accept this, we will not be able to create a vision of the future that is consistent with Mother’s heart.
How united are you with True Mother? This sphere of unity will create the future. We are living in a critical time that will determine our future.
Heavenly Parent’s dream of the ideal of creation has been proclaimed as realized
The most memorable moment for me at the entrance ceremony was when the doors to Cheon Il Sanctum were opened. The doors were opened by Holy Mother Han—the substantial True Mother of Humankind, the Heavenly Mother who had been hidden behind Heavenly Father—as if to announce the beginning of heaven and earth.
True Mother has been subjected to various criticism and misunderstandings since True Father’s seonghwa. Yet, she consistently continued to talk about her identity as the Only Begotten Daughter. There is only one goal: to reveal Heavenly Mother before humankind and make it clear that God is the Parent. She believed that only then would God be liberated.
No music in the world could possibly match when True Mother and the Inheritors of Heaven’s Love and Blessing took the stage. Only this song, Monarch Butterfly, could have helped paint this scene. I was sincerely grateful to Shin-chul nim for composing the song. A large chorus of 1,000 people electrified the audience with their singing. Two hundred and eighty people from Japan also attended the event.
The blessing ceremony was held on the day before the entrance ceremony, where True Mother gave the blessing. Pre-recorded audio of the Affirmation of the Blessing Vows and the Proclamation of the Blessing were used, but the Blessing was given directly by Mother. One sentence particularly stuck with me was, “Today, your dream of the ideal of creation has come true.”
According to the principle of the ideal of creation, in which God lives on earth with Adam and Eve and experiences the four great realms of heart before they join him eternally in spirit world, the blessing ceremony should be held after the entrance ceremony of welcoming God to earth. However, if this was the case, the Blessing Ceremony would have been held in the afternoon of the 13th or even on the 14th. In that case, the number of young people coming to Korea from Japan could have been reduced by half.
After much discussion with regional group leaders from all over the world, True Mother finally agreed that this entire series of ceremonies was one ceremony under Heaven’s realm of victory. Even if the blessing ceremony was held before the entrance ceremony, the original significance of the ceremony would not be lost, so Mother prayed that Heavenly Parent would be present on earth in substance and that the dream of the ideal of creation be realized. This declaration was non-negotiable.
When I saw True Mother after the series of events, she was filled with a sense of triumph and satisfaction that she had completely fulfilled her mission in history. Through the benediction during the blessing ceremony and the proclamation of God’s word at the entrance ceremony, Mother announced a great turnaround in history that will be engraved forever.
Our families are proof that God has been firmly established
What kind of day do you think April 13 was for God? Wonju Chong, Vice President of Cheon Mu Won (Cheon Il Guk Central Administration), thoroughly explained this point at the opening ceremony of the General Assembly of Cheon Il Guk Leaders.
First, it was the day when the Heavenly Parent came to earth and was firmly established for the first time in 6,000 years.
Second, it was the first day in which the Heavenly Parent, clad in the bodies of True Parents, could enjoy heavenly life on earth together with the children of blessed families.
Third, it was the beginning where true love, a world peace, and Cheon Il Guk could be governed directly by True Parents.
In order for God to be at ease as the Parent, there must be children who are willing to attend to their parents as their parents. Who are these children? Needless to say, it is us, the chosen blessed families. Only when we become children who serve God as the Parent, the path for Him to be firmly established will be opened.
God is not confined to Cheon Il Sanctum, but is at rest in our families. Therefore, the families will be asked whether they have welcomed God as the Parent in their lives—the husband and wife will be asked if they have welcomed God as the Parent in their relationship, and whether or not God has been welcomed in the parent-child relationship and brother-sister relationships. There is no other place where God, being firmly established, can be “visualized.” We must create families in which people will say, “God is firmly established here.” That is our mission.
In addition, Mrs. Wonju Chong listed five things that True Mother had been working on providentially in preparation for April 13.
First, the age of the heavenly realm of life on earth has been ushered in, where we live in the substantial presence of the Creator, the Heavenly Parent.
Second, the providential aspect of Heavenly Mother, which had been hidden for six thousand years, has been restored.
Third, she professed that the substance of the Heavenly Mother is Holy Mother Han.
Jesus said, “He who has seen me has seen the Father.” (Matthew 14:9) True Mother’s position is “He who has seen me has seen the Heavenly Mother.” Unless we can clearly state that we have seen the Heavenly Mother in Holy Mother Han, we are a long way from being united.
Fourth, as a blessed family attending Holy Mother Han, we have been given the special gift of being able to say a prayer of thanksgiving.
The moment True Mother instructed us to include the phrase “blessed families attending Holy Mother Han” when concluding prayers, voices of criticism flew all over the internet, saying, “Look, this is proof she is negating True Father,” or “She’s not united with Father,” and so on. This is despite the fact that praying in one’s own name has not changed. I consider this instruction to be, in a sense, a challenge from Mother. She is asking us if we are truly serving Holy Mother Han.
Fifth, the Heavenly Parent has been firmly established on earth, and the age has been achieved where He can become a substance of love and directly administer the providence.
The time has come for all settings and frameworks to be maintained with God as the Parent. We, who are responsible for carrying on the providential victory established by True Mother, must first recognize this fact, incorporate it into our lives, and see what changes will manifest in our daily life. Then, we will connect the members to the Heavenly Parent, True Parents, and Mother.
The Epic History of the Chosen Han People of Korea, a compilation of history centered on the birth of True Mother
A large stone monument with this year’s motto was erected in front of the Cheong Shim Peace World Center. Do you know about it? True Mother said that this motto will continue for two or three generations.
So, will next year’s motto be marked as “14th Year of Cheon Il Guk?” I don’t think so. This is because the 13th year of Cheon Il Guk has meaning. This year’s motto clearly proclaims what happened in the 13th year of Cheon Il Guk. That is why a stone monument was built and left behind.
Realizing the latter part of the motto will also be a further challenge for us. As children established by Heaven, we must accept the three wishes of becoming one with True Parents, fulfilling our responsibility as the chosen people, and becoming true children of Cheon Il Guk. We must also educate our congregation to reach those goals together.
The following is what was said during the leaders assembly on January 31:
It is the principle of creation. If there is an only begotten son, there must be an only begotten daughter. For this reason, Heaven has established a nation that can give birth to an only begotten daughter. That is the Korean people. Within that nation, the only begotten daughter must be born in a Christian environment. If you look at the Epic History of the Chosen Han People, you will understand that (the Korean people) are a special people.
Last year, lectures began on the Epic History of the Chosen Han People. There is consistency in this Epic and Mother’s victory (this past April). We need to understand this correctly.
The Epic contains True Mother’s strong will and hopes. Thirteen related paintings were also unveiled. Yesterday, we welcomed the Japanese artists involved in creating the paintings to our headquarters for dinner and heard their stories. The thirteen painters (twelve at the time of completion) from around the world put their lives on the line to create the paintings.
The Epic testifies to the birth of the True Parents of humankind through the Second Advent and the first coming of the Only Begotten Daughter, who were established on earth in the providential history of human salvation. In particular, the history was summarized into an epic poem based on the birth of Hak Ja Han, True Mother, who was born two thousand years after Jesus. Simply put, the story was created by shining a light on history with Mother at the center. We have already experienced something similar. It is the “historical simultaneity” of the Unification Principle. Simultaneity is a light shining on history and organizing it around the birth of the Messiah. It is also faith that enable us to see God’s workings in it.
God has raised up the Korean people as the chosen people. What are their characteristics? I once had the opportunity to be present at a meeting where Lee Gi-shik, Secretary General of the TFT for the Epic History of the Chosen Han People of Korea in Cheon Mu Won confirmed certain points with True Mother. What Mother emphasized the most were the people of descendants of Heaven and purity. The Korean people are a people of white garments with a long-awaited thought of longing for the coming of the Messiah, and they are a people who have established the idea of purity and a tradition of filial piety toward their parents. God has taken the time to nurture the sexual disposition of the Korean people, which is suitable for welcoming the parents of humankind.
By the way, Japan is also God’s providential nation. Therefore, there must be an epic of the chosen people for the nation of Japan that is appropriate for a providential nation. It means that the nation of Japan has a special trait that God nurtured to establish it as the Mother Nation.
Mr. Lee Gi-shik expressed the following view:
“Japan is not a country where True Parents were established. If we look at the Japanese people from the viewpoint that they have developed the characteristics and heavenly disposition suitable for accepting True Parents established in Korea, we may be able to create a grand epic of the Japanese people.”
Educate from the perspective of the Principle of Creation
The providential history of salvation of humankind has passed through the Festive Age and the Old Testament Age, and then entered the New Testament Age with Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Then, the True Parents of humankind appeared through the Second Coming of the Messiah and the Holy Spirit in substance, and we are now in the present. Now is the golden age of walking with True Parents on earth. During True Parents’ lifetime, the providence of indemnity has ended and the providence of creation centering on True Parents has started.
With the emergence of the True Parents of humankind (1960), the Coronation Ceremony of God’s Kingship (2001), Cheon Jeong Gung Entrance Ceremony and Coronation of True Parents (2006), True Father’s Seonghwa (2012), the proclamation of Foundation Day for Cheon Il Guk (2013), the consecration of Cheon Won Gung and Cheon Il Sanctum (2023), and now the entrance into Cheon Won Gung and Cheon Il Sanctum, the age of God’s substantial reign has begun. True Mother is now pushing forward toward the 60th Heavenly Parent’s Day, which will be celebrated in 2027, two years from now, as a providential milestone.
Heaven’s providence has been accomplished through a mixture of indemnity and the principle of creation.
I was born in 1956. I was led to the Family Federation in 1975. I cannot say how well I have walked in heaven’s providence, but there is one thing that has definitely changed in me.
I was trained in the age of indemnity where my faith was shaped. The standard of my life is basically based on the principle of indemnity. However, my sense of seeing things from the perspective of the principle of creation is becoming stronger than the sense I developed during the age of indemnity.
True Mother overwhelmingly speaks from the perspective of the principle of creation. That sometimes sounds different from the perspective we’ve had until now. We may think, “Oh, Mother is ignoring the Principle.”
I once met True Mother with Hideyuki Teshigawara, Director General of the General Affairs Bureau. Mother asked him, “What are you in charge of?” When he told her that he was involved in the training of pastors and principle instructors, she said, “From now on, all you need is the Principle of Creation.” This must have been a shocking statement.
This does not mean that the principle of creation alone is sufficient for principle lecturers. It means to educate from the viewpoint of the principle of creation. This is because a substantial figure has now been established from the original perspective of the principle of creation.
Changes in my relationship with God will reflect in daily life
This is from Eschatology in The Divine Principle.
Today, at this historical transition period, we must find the person whom God has designated as the central figure of the new dispensation in order that we might participate in this new age and give honor to God’s wishes.
The providence of the new age does not begin on the ashes of the old age. On the contrary, the new age sprouts and grows amidst the final phases of the old age and comes into conflict with that age. Accordingly, it is difficult for a person steeped in the old tradition to understand or accept the new providence.

Now is the time for our spiritual and physical bodies to become one, centering on the Heavenly Parent, to become human beings who respond to spirit and truth, and to stand as the owners who will create Cheon Il Guk. This relationship between the Heavenly Parent and my spiritual body has been changing over the past 50 years.
This aspect of God has changed due to True Parents’ realm of victory. As our view of God has changed, the way we connect with God has also changed. Also, spirituality matures centered on the spirit mind, and grabs hold of God while catching the Spirit, and I feel that my spirit is changing a lot within myself.
Our spirit self, or spirit, is a substantial yet incorporeal reality which can be apprehended only through the spiritual senses. It is the subject partner to our physical self. Our spirit can communicate directly with God and is meant to govern the incorporeal world, including the angels.”

We who are alive today are living in the Last Days. We should cultivate a humble heart and make the utmost effort to receive divine inspiration through prayer. We should not be strongly attached to conventional concepts, but rather should direct ourselves to be receptive to the spirit, in order that we may find the new truth which can guide us to the providence of the new age. When we come across this truth, we should ascertain whether it leads us to become one with Heaven’s guidance. We should examine ourselves as to whether or not genuine, heavenly bliss springs forth abundantly from the depths of our soul.

It is important to offer prayers of cheongseong at Cheon Shim Won and let your spirituality respond to the Spirit. It is important to grasp the feeling that they become one. And if we begin to feel the change that has occurred in ourselves, our lives will also change. If this relationship with God changes, the daily life will also change. Conversely, if there is no change in daily life, it means that my relationship with God has not changed either.
We can tell if we have correctly grasped God’s aspect as proclaimed through Holy Mother Han by looking at our lives. This is because that is the only place where God lands.
Only one set of True Parents for all eternity
Will the Heavenly Parent and True Parents exist on this earth three hundred years from now? That depends on us. It will be determined by how we lead our lives. It is meaningless to say that True Parents’ achievements can be summarized in a biography of a great couple called the True Parents. History will move toward heaven only when there are children who serve True Parents as their parents.
Adam and Eve were established with the Heavenly Parent at the center. Their essence is Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother. However, because of the fall, they lost their position as parents. God established the nation of Israel and they called Him, “Yahweh.” Even though He was the Parent, no-one called him Parent, and that was His pain and frustration.
As the relationship between God and humans grows closer, and the term “Lord God” also changes. After receiving Jesus, He was now called “God the Father.” However, Jesus could not receive the Only Begotten Daughter.
God has established the Korean nation, and history has pursued the Second Advent and the First Coming of the Only Begotten Daughter, the Holy Spirit in substance. If Jesus had received the Holy Spirit in substance, the Korean nation would not have been needed in the providence.
The Korean nation has been prepared for more than 5,000 years, and its history has developed toward the birth of True Parents. True Parents’ holy marriage in 1960 and the Blessed Marriage opened the way for all humankind, including people in spirit world, to stand in God’s lineage.
Therefore, there is no such thing as kicking out True Parents and becoming True Parents yourself to create a new path, or divorcing True Parents and establishing different True Parents. There will always be one set of True Parents forever. There is only President Sun Myung Moon and President Hak Ja Han.
During a recent visit to the United States, I was invited to a meeting with Japanese members. When I asked what I should talk about, they asked me to speak about non-principled groups. In the U.S., it seems that people who belong to non-principled groups such as the UCI (Kwak Group) and Sanctuary Church also worship together in the churches of the Family Federation. So, they are sometimes at a loss as to how they should treat each other in the congregation.
This is what I told them:
“If you are wondering how to treat these people, ask that person, ‘Three hundred years from now, who do you think will be the True Parents of humankind?’ If he or she does not answer President Sun Myung Moon and President Han Hak Ja, then he or she is not standing before the True Parents as a child. It means they do not have the same values as us.”
Even if we do not understand True Parents all that well, they are still True Parents. Even if we do not know how united True Father and True Mother are, they are still True Parents.
How much do you know about your parents? What kind of proposal did your father make to your mother, how did she feel about it, and how did they get married? How much did they walk together (on the path of faith) after marriage? You may not know much. Still, they are your parents. You may not like them, but they are still your parents. They are your parents, and you should never abandon them. You need to spend time with them and make an effort to understand them.
Victory of heavenly tribal messiahship: the responsibility chosen blessed families are to fulfill
God’s providence of salvation will continue until every last human being is blessed. He will never say, “I’ll think I should quit here.” Why? Because He is the Parent. The Parent will never give up until He can hold each person in His bosom.
With True Mother’s realm of victory, aspects of the Heavenly Parent have become clear, and Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother have come to the fore through the Cheon Won Gung and Cheon Il Sanctum Entrance Ceremony. We are entering a age of great historical change centering on the Heavenly Parent.
As the view of God and the God’s aspects emerge, religious walls will begin to crumble and borders will begin to break down. This is because the Parent has stood up. All religions can only open their doors and become one before the Heavenly Parent, the Parent of humankind. There is no need to convert. We only share the Heavenly Parent.
Brothers and sisters share life together with their parents, all the while bringing out their individuality. This is the most important point when dealing with people from other religions. If we understand that God is the Parent of humankind, it is natural to talk about the need for True Parents for humankind.
The Korean people were trained by God as the chosen people and gave birth to the True Parents of humankind. We have fulfilled that mission. From now on, it is the blessed families who will advance the providence with True Parents and fulfill their responsibilities as the chosen people.
True Mother said the following:
Heavenly Parent’s dream and humanity’s hope is to live in the kingdom of heaven on earth. Therefore, you blessed families and CheonBo families cannot remain where you are. You must fulfill your responsibility. Responsibility. True Mother, the Only Begotten Daughter, cannot do everything by herself.

Needless to say, the responsibility given to the Cheonbo families and the chosen blessed families is heavenly tribal messiahship. There is no other way to resemble True Parents or inherit True Parents’ realm of victory. It is our destiny to be heavenly tribal messiahs. When I lead brothers and sisters in the field, my first concern is to help them bring victory in heavenly tribal messiahship. It is about motivating them to want to fulfill this.
Heaven is not created by faith, but by heart
The second generation are precious because the first generation are precious. The first generation chose to live a life centered on True Parents and decided to receive the blessing and enter into God’s lineage. They have decided to take True Parents as their parents. The second generation were born on the foundation of that faith. Their identity as second generation is based on first generation’s faith.
True Mother told us in front of many of the senior families, “You cannot create heaven by faith.” The first generation established their faith before Heaven, walked the path of indemnity, and left their beloved families behind to go out on world missions. Their achievements are great. However, heaven is a world of heart, not a world of faith. Heaven is not seeking a flock that believes in the father and mother, but children who have the father and the mother as their parents.
The first generation have built themselves up by faith. We must challenge ourselves to say that the parents before us are truly my parents.
Look at the second generation. They rush to True Parents without any hesitancy. That kind of heart comes first, and that is heaven. Of course, the second generation will need to train their faith, but they can naturally say, “True Mother, we are here, so don’t worry!” We must open up a new age while steadily nurturing that world of heart.
One thousand two hundred people from Japan attended the blessing ceremony. Looking at the brides and grooms, I thought, “Wow, the times have changed.” I didn’t feel that they were fighting the dissolution order in court. They were in a world that said, “We are in heaven!” It was truly wonderful. I felt grateful that the second generation community was supporting True Mother as an object of her heart.
Finally, let me summarize the aspects of the chosen blessed families in the Age of Cheon Il Guk into four parts.
First, the point of settlement of the principle of creation (three great blessings and four great hearts). The principle of creation should not remain a “noble teaching” to be told and conveyed to others. It is to be anchored in our families.
Second, the point of firmly establishing the Heavenly Parent (heavenly families). It is not enough to understand our Heavenly Parent intellectually. We are to welcome Heavenly Parent into our families.
Third, the point of firmly establishing True Parents’ ideal (the base of true love and tradition). True Mother’s great concern is that she can go to the spirit world at anytime. Whether or not True Parents will exist on earth forever depends on how we build our lives centered on True Parents and how we inherit their traditions of love to the second and third generation.
Fourth, the mission and responsibility of chosen blessed families (heavenly tribal messiahship and national restoration). True Parents have fulfilled all of their missions. All that remains is for us, the chosen blessed families, to accomplish our missions and responsibilities, including the heavenly tribal messiahship. It does not matter what the outcome of the court case for the dissolution order will be.
Let me read the parts of the special message from Cheon Mu Won that I thought were important.
Life is something that a mother gives birth to. In order to resurrect Heavenly Japan and save the world, we, the blessed families of the Heavenly Japan, must stand tall. It seems that Heaven is telling all the blessed families of the world, over and over again, that they must save the Heavenly Japan, no matter what. This is truly the heart of Heavenly Mother and the earnest heart of True Mother.

We are the blessed families and members of the Heavenly Japan, loved by True Mother and prayed for by our brothers and sisters all over the world.
Let us unite with True Mother and move forward to make Japan a place where Mother can have a peace of mind. Heaven remembers the hardships and sacrifices that have been made for the sake of the Mother Nation, Japan, and the world. The efforts and achievements that Japan’s senior families have put in are tremendous. We must face society with pride.
The Family Federation of Japan has been given the mission from heaven to save Japan. No matter what persecution may come our way, we must establish Japan as the Mother Nation. We, the chosen blessed families, will fulfill our respective responsibilities with a strong belief that we will surely fulfill this mission.
