The new era demands harmony and peace seekers
Good morning to all Pure Water members nationwide and worldwide, and to all blessed families.
Pastor Paula White, currently the most prominent pastor in the world and Senior Advisor to the Office of Faith at the White House, has sent a message to all Pure Water members. Let us once again offer her an applause of gratitude.
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God” (Matthew 5:9). Have you all heard this scripture that Pastor White highlighted? Pure Water are asked to become “peacemakers.” This, she said, is Heaven’s expectation and hope.
Holy Mother Han, True Mother, stated, “What is required in the new era are those who bring reconciliation, those who bring peace.” I believe the members of Pure Water are the ones most fitting of this word. Pure Water has been entrusted with a great calling from Heaven.
The hopes Mother placed in “water”
True Mother placed her hopes on all of you in the name containing the character for “water.” Water possesses the following characteristics:
First, water enters any gap and flows down to the lowest point. And while it may become dirty, it cleanses whatever it touches.
The essence of Pure Water is “living for the sake of others.” Even if you go to the other side of the earth, her hope is that you live for the sake others to the utmost and bring people joy.
Second, the essence of water never changes. It is usually in a liquid state, but it can solidify as ice or become a gas as water vapor. Yet in any state, its essence as H₂O does not change.
When interacting with lawless people, you may need to act without law. Gentiles may require treatment as Gentiles. Yet your essential nature as children of God remains absolute and does not change. This is your eternal, unchanging essence.
Third, water is the source of life. Every living thing perishes without water. Let us be mindful that pure water is the very foundation that sustains life.
Fourth, water flows with greater force the narrower the channel becomes. You can see this clearly when you observe valleys and mountain streams. Where the river narrows, the current transforms into a torrent. This teaches us that when water faces trials, it gains momentum and grows stronger.
Trials help you, Pure Water, grow. I am confident that Heaven is raising you up to be strong and is guiding you to fulfill your roles.
Pastor White also mentioned this:
“Following God does not mean that life will be without trials…Your trials do not define you. They refine you…But even in the midst of those trials, know this that God has you in the palm of his hand.”
Everyone, where there are trials, God is with you. Aju!
The forces of Satan fear the appearance of God’s children
The people that best suits the words from Scripture I introduced at the beginning—“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God”—are all of you, Pure Water.
There are forces that fear your very existence. The forces of the false parent, the forces of Satan—born from the Fall of the human ancestors Adam and Eve—fear the appearance of God’s children most of all.
They have kept humanity under their control. The forces that declare, “We hate all gods,” seek to eliminate God, and they proclaim that “God is dead,” or “Religion is the opium of the masses.” These are the forces that have dominated humanity, striving to distance people from God.
If they can get people to deny religion and deny the spirit world, then they can also get people to deny the existence of Satan. Satan has sought to keep humanity under his control, even at the cost of his own demise, and has prevented the appearance of God’s children.
They are troubled by God’s children appearing on the scene. Therefore, they attempt to ostracize them from society by labeling them “second-generation religious followers.”
They also teach that the desire to seek God and the whisperings of conscience are all results of mind control, making it seem as though having faith itself is dangerous. They use the terms “brainwashing” and “mind control” in a frightening way, even claiming it takes twenty years to break free from their effects.
Nevertheless, young people calling themselves “second-generation believers” began to take a stand one after another. Satan’s forces must be frantic. What’s more, these second-generation believers even started saying they were grateful to their parents and the church. Satan’s forces must be screaming in agony.
Among the Pure Water members here, some may have suffered because of their parents’ faith. Some may have faced bullying at school or been forced to endure other hardships. You may have endured countless trials, so many that you can’t count all of them on your fingers. Yet, you say, “I am grateful.” Such people are utterly terrifying to Satan.
If someone cries out, “I am a child of God,” then God’s presence is with that person. Why was Jesus crucified? Because He upheld those words: “I am the Son of God.” And for two thousand years, Christians have risked their lives to protect the Heavenly Father as children of God. That is why God’s children are so terrifying.
Be grateful. Religion teaches us that gratitude is a basic part of life.
I am grateful for the breakfast I was able to have this morning.
I am grateful for the futon I sleep on at night.
I am grateful for the home I can return to.
I am grateful for the friends I have.
I am grateful for a new day today.
Above all, I am grateful for being born.
And I am grateful even when trials are given.
Such a person who thinks like this cannot be defeated. This too is one reason why God’s children are feared.
The other weapon believers wield to go with gratitude is prayer. No one can stop a heart that prays. They pray even in prison. It is precisely in trials when believers pray.
God’s children are armed with prayer, and when they are faced with trials, they offer thanksgiving and draw nearer to heaven. The more trials they face, the more they seek after heaven’s will and draw closer (to God). Therefore, those who seek to destroy God are powerless.
A religion that has developed by overcoming trials on a national level
I would like to say this: If there is nothing you can do about a certain situation, then it’s best not to force it. Just let it be. Religion grows stronger the more it is persecuted. Thanks to the persecution, Second-Generation Believers Campaign Team, N.A.B.I (Next-generation Alliance of Belief and Intercession) was formed. Because of all the persecution, we took to the streets and conducted demonstrations and campaigns. Because of the persecution, the harm caused by the religious abductions and confinement (deprogramming efforts) is beginning to come to light.
Moreover, numerous experts have held press conferences, appealing for a fair and impartial trial. Even at this very moment, we are gaining more signatures opposing the dissolution order.
Not only the Family Federation, but other religions have faced persecution from the government. In Japan, Tenrikyo, Omoto (Omoto-kyo), Rissho Kosei-kai, Soka Gakkai, and others have faced ordeals on a national level. Among them, the founder of Tenrikyo (Miki Nakayama), the founder of Omoto (Onisaburo Deguchi), the first president of Soka Gakkai (Tsunesaburo Makiguchi) and its second president (Josei Toda) were all imprisoned at certain points in their lives. The first president of Soka Gakkai even died in prison.
Have these religious groups perished? On the contrary, they have influence have grown. They have developed by overcoming these national ordeals.
We can see common pattern emerge from these religions that grew from trials. When leadership passes to the second generation, intense persecution and ordeals occur. Tenrikyo, Omoto, and Soka Gakkai all experienced this.
Forces that oppose religion fear lineage and succession. They fear the continuation of faith.
“Thank you so much for coming into this world.”
Right now, the Family Federation is in the midst of its tests and trials. Conversely, this is a crucial moment in which Heaven and Satan are watching closely. It is truly the moment to showcase the magnificence of Pure Water. I don’t know if it’s appropriate to call it a “showcase moment,” but I feel your presence is incredibly significant.
Yesterday (August 30th), I spent ten hours alone in the President’s office watching the live broadcast of “Second-generation LIVE! Stand Up! with GOD.” I cried a lot. Every single word you spoke resonated deeply within my heart. On behalf of the Heavenly Parent (God), True Parents, and all your parents, let me say this:
Thank you very much coming into this world.
True Mother stated this at the Pure Water Assembly 2025:
“Members of Pure Water, please take root in Cheon Il Guk, grow tall and strang, embrace the whole world, and become great trees loved by all.”
The core of Cheon Il Guk are True Parents. When roots take hold, they dig ever deeper in search of the water of life. The source of this water of life is True Mother. Therefore, connect firmly with Mother and become great trees that can make the Heavenly Kingdom proud.
Water stagnates and rots if it stays in one place. I sincerely hope you will boldly take on challenges, make the most of your youthful energy before Heaven, and create a bright future.
Also, among the first generation watching this worship service on livestream, some may feel burdened by debts from their past. Some may regret, thinking, “If only I had done this differently.” However, I firmly believe you are now absolutely determined to support the second and third generations, to robustly grow the Abel Church and Family Federation into organizations Heaven can use, and pass on a splendid church.
Let us move forward toward the future together.
